memory bus speeds?
not my experience...even new PCs are exremly slow and it is strange!?

Things like FDDI are missing but Ethernet is ok for me?!
GFX is even fast enough with my ET4000w32...if it would work.

I don`t think it`s a good idea to upgrade now...

1. don`t like Cyberstorm...and it doesn`t even fit into my machine
   (but a new board will be available in summer 95...yes,95 :-((( )

2. other boards are worse than Cyberstorm..

3. Warpengine is still not available...it`s too late now PPCP is comming
   this summer...

4. Machines like BeBox (double604) ship for $2500...

5. five year old Amiga3000-style machines including A4000(T) are not
   compareable to comming PPCP....they are obsolete like A500/A2000 than.

All I know have at least 030 and all have GFX-boards (merlin--, picollo++)
and the A1200-030 users are dammed to use AGA...they won`t if they could
get a gfx board or an normaly priced A4000T.

I don`t need more CPU Power in my Amiga...it`s still enough for what
I`m doing with it but a 030 is much too slow though
(except MPEG) and nothing than a C80 will fix this...

I don`t think it`s "really" normal to go and buy a Pentium for playing
games...but that`s what people are doing (my is faster than yours)...

I`m willing to take a PPC Platform if they`re ready...the 604(e) should
perform a little better with the AmigaOS than my currend machine...that`s
enough for me the first time. I will take it due its cool concepts.
I don`t need a fu*ing machine with problems over problems starting a
hardware level and optimiced with software (PC).
BeBox came out for $2500...its pre PPCP but its a good price for such
machine, IMHO.

PS: I won`t buy any Amiga which is no PPCP...that`s clear for me.
